Description
Amsterdam, Barbara Huges, 1969(?)
Embossed paper wrappers glued in a grey cloth spine, 27 x 20.5 cm, 34 pages. Text in Dutch.
The second (expanded) edition. Ten additional pages of text by Drs. R. A. Hübner, taken from De Bazuin maart 1969. Most editions have an illustration either pasted on the front cover or inside, and all editions have the year 1968 on the title page, making it hard to distinguish editions. None of the editions have stated print runs, and are most likely stencilled and assembled in small numbers. I can’t be bothered to write a long text about trepanation, let’s just say it takes a certain kind of man to drill a hole in his head with a Black & Decker drill.
Wrappers with stains and soling, cut a bit shorter than the pages. Corner torn off from the first page, likely the name of the previous owner. Some damp/water stains to the edges of some of the pages. The worst copy I’ve seen, but probably not the worst copy around.
