Bob Cobbing is internationally known as a sound and visual poet.
His sound poems appear on nine gramophone records published in six different countries and his visual poems have been
exhibited in Europe, Asia and North and South America. This is his sixteenth book of poems – a kind of ‘work in progress’.
Konkrete Canticle, besides being the title of this book, is the name of a group consisting of, Bob Cobbing, Paula Claire and
Michael Chant which performs poems by its constituent members.
Most of the poems in this book have been performed by the group and two will shortly appear on
a gramophone record.
