Fun document of biker lifestyle, with a small introduction by Tim Richmond, else color photographs of bikers

Sandwiched between auto racing’s highly-
publicized speedweeks and the M.T.V. hype of
college spring break is the most outrageous
seasonal event in Daytona Beach, Florida. For
one week Main Street becomes the “Biker
Capital of the Universe.” The ghost town is
transformed into a mini-city catering to the
needs of more than 85,000 bike people. A slice
of Americana rarely seen by most citizens,
and misunderstood by many, today’s bikers
are mostly people who just have a passion for
their machines. I walked into this scene for
the first time with my friend, Bob Jones, a
professional photographer. We saw it all, and
attempted to capture the essence of Bike
Week Daytona to present here on these pages
for you to feel. And see.

Dust jacket with some wear and a tear. Book itself with rubbed ends, else good.
