Paris, Gibert Jeune, 1959
Softcover in pictorial dust jacket, 28 x 24 cm, 159 pages, illustrated throughout with black and white photographs. English/French/German.
A personal favorite. A collection of 154 photographs organised by various themes. Compositions organised by categories: nature, the world which surrounds us, wood, architecture, and black becomes, compositions, my work in steel and other colors . Each category introduced by a small text in English/French/German printed on heavier paper of a different color. Fritz Kühn was East-German artist who often worked with metals, and published various books of photegraphs and on metalworking.
A good copy with a few tears to the very fragile dust jacket. Name and date on the French title page. Lower right corner a bit creased. A good copy of a book almost always found with defects.
