With the text “problems for future historians
During his journey in Germany, the artist Sol Lewitt (1928) got the assistance from a boy. because the great interest the boy showed for the artist”s creativities, Sol Lewitt gave him a multipel.
The youngster sold the work for a ridiculously low price to an unknown belgian. this fellow brought the multipel to Ghent. because of fact that the work has no signature at all it was put up for auction for a mere song.
that’s how it got into my hands. my attention was draw by the technical aspects of the multipel and that’s why I made a simi-one.”
