Undated Dutch edition of Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Four color plates by J.D., including the one on the boards. Voor de jeugd bewerkt met platen door J.D. De negerhut van Oom Tom en andere verhalen on the spine. Pirmasens published several other children’s classic with plates by the same J.D. but this publication is by far the rarest. Only one copy located at the Public Library of Amsterdam; OBA.
A good copy with some rubbing along the edges.
