French edition of a self published book on desserts by a duo of friends (authors Liesbeth Geerinck and Bie Deckmyn). Illustrated throughout with drawings, even the page edges are adorned with little drawings of fruits or animals, the book contains 40 recipes of mostly (local) classics. All text in facsimile handwriting. A dutch edition was also printed, but is equally hard to find.
Rare institutionally. A Dutch edition is held by Harvard Library, Koninklijke Bibliotheek Den Haag and the (KBR) Royal Library of Belgium. An actual French edition can’t be traced.
A good copy with discolored wrappers and yellowed plastic comb. Small stain to the title page, else good.
