London, The Museum of London, 1995
Softcover, 25 x 23 cm, 190 pages. Black and white photographs. English.
Eels, Pie and Mash must be about the most British collection of photographs out there. Focusing solely on the many eel, pie and mash shops once so prominent around London, this volume of black and white photography is a time document of British culture and food culture to some extent. With a foreword by George Melly, and Eels, Pie and Mash a short history by Paolo Hewitt and black and white photographs by Chris Clunn.
A good copy with some minor wear to the wrappers and a tiny bump to the middle of the spine.
