A beautiful book of beach portraits by American photographer Seymour Jacobs. With an introduction by Georges Vercheval, who was the director and founder of the Musée de la Photographie in Charleroi, which exhibited and acquired photographs by Seymour Jacobs. With a 1988 text by Seymour Jacobs in French and English. He spent twenty years on this project, playing with themes of nostalgia and fiction, creating a series of grainy, almost haunting portraits.
